The Gift That Keeps On Giving
As we approach the Christmas season, we must remember who God has called us to be as believers. People are so focused on buying and receiving gifts, that many times they can overlook the greatest gift of all. God freely gave us the gift of His Son so that we may have eternal life.
Since God has freely given to us, we must also freely give His love to those around us.

The greatest gift that we could give anyone is to share the love that Jesus has shown us. God has called us to be the gift that keeps on giving. Since there is never an end to God’s gift of love to us, there should never be an end to the love that we give to others. I encourage you to take time this Christmas season to pray about how God can use you to give His gift of unconditional love to as many people as possible. We should always remember to thank God for His many gifts and blessings to us. Take time to reflect on just how much God has given to us and on what it really meant for Jesus to come to the earth. Let us guard against becoming too busy with all that comes with this time of the year so we do not miss the true meaning of why we celebrate Christmas.
My prayer for each of you is that you would make yourself available to God so He can use you to be the gift that keeps on giving. We all carry the responsibility to share God’s gift of love to our families, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and anyone with whom we come in to contact.

Upcoming Daniel Fast
As a church, we will once again be participating in the Daniel Fast to begin the new year. The 21-day fast will begin January 7th and will conclude on January 27th. More information will be forthcoming. Midweek Services There will be no prayer service or midweek service the week of December 25th. Enjoy time with your family! |
